Join us for a panel discussion that will explore the experiences and artistic responses of four artists who spent time on Bibbaringa, Gillian Sanbrook’s regenerative farm near Albury.

The artists, Kim Mahood, Sally Simpson, Wendy Teakel and Linda Dening all share deep concern for the future of the planet. They all live rurally and have respect for the tireless work farmers do to care for land.

Over the past 20 years, farmer Gillian Sanbrook has applied a gentle hand and philosophies of care to resourcefully rejuvenate valuable agricultural land.

The four artists were invited to spend time at Bibbaringa after Gillian visited the first Staying With The Trouble exhibition at the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery in 2023.

In this new iteration of the Staying with the Trouble project, the four artists explore Gillian’s story and their own connections to it, reflected in the work they created during and after their experiences at Bibbaringa.
