Wagga Wagga Art Gallery inspires a vibrant, innovative and diverse Riverina arts culture. We engage with our local and global communities, we support artists regionally and nationally, and we promote a flourishing and experimental creative environment accessible to all.
Situated in Wagga Wagga's cultural precinct on the banks of the Wollundary lagoon Wagga Wagga Art Gallery is housed in an outstanding architectural complex of major contemporary art spaces, award winning National Art Glass Gallery building and collection, with art workshops and regional resident artist facilities. Curatorial focus includes, contemporary art, new media, Wiradjuri and First Nations, and on semi-permanent display; works from our extensive National Art Glass Collection and Margaret Carnegie Australian Print Collections.
Wagga Wagga Art Gallery is home of the National Art Glass Gallery houses a world class, nationally significant collection of contemporary art glass, featuring approximately 700 pieces. The Margaret Carnegie Print Collection consists of over 1400 original prints by Australia’s foremost artists. In addition the gallery presents in-house curated and touring exhibitions throughout the year.
Our programming strengths are exhibitions, regional artist development (exhibition and residency), Wiradjuri and First Nations, emerging artists development, public programs (artist talks, master-classes and workshops), and a suite of education and engagement programs onsite and across the local government area.
7 exhibitions spaces over 1000 square metres with flexible running wall space. Dedicated darkened space for new media and artist film projects. E3 Regional Artist Exhibition and Residency spaces. State of the art erco lighting system, dedicated HVAC exhibition space for sensitive works. Flexible space with high ceilings allows for creation of grand or intimate exhibition experiences.
Wagga Wagga Art Gallery is a cultural facility of the City of Wagga Wagga and is supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW.

Wagga Wagga Art Gallery is pleased to announce ABC Riverina as its media partner for a year of environmentally focused exhibitions, programs and events in 2023.
Across the year our valued visitors will have the opportunity to hear from the Gallery with renowned artists, scientists, and environmental educators.
