About
The RAD Exhibition Program offers subsidised exhibition opportunities for local artists and curators at Wagga Wagga Art Gallery.
This program provides valuable professional development, including mentoring from Gallery staff and the chance to engage directly with Gallery audiences. Our second RAD Exhibition for the 2025 program is presented by Patricia Murray, Susan Buik and Tina de Jong.
Hollows - Not Nature's Empty Spaces
RAD Exhibition program is pleased to present Hollows, an exhibition of work by Patricia Murray, Susan Buik and Tina de Jong. Hollows is the culmination of a two-year collaboration and exploration of society’s conflicting values around the natural environment.
Hollows asks the viewer to consider whether remnant bushland is an impediment to progress, or a vital support for our society and a vanishing heritage in need of conservation. Combining their art practices with ecological knowledge, the artists seek to build empathy for our fellow flora and fauna.
Through this exhibition, they aim to deepen public understanding and appreciation of the natural world’s deep time, complexity, fragility, and resilience.
Open to the public Tuesday - Saturday, 10am - 4pm & Sunday 10am - 2pm.
This program is supported by Create NSW through NSW Government
