Joe Wetherbee Buildings 2008 

Now in its fourth year, ArtAbility 2008 is a collaborative exhibition of new artworks from service users of Skills Options Day Service at Kurrajong Waratah, The Leisure Company and Willans Hill School. The exhibition promotes the International Day of People with a Disability by acknowledging the positive contribution that people with a disability make to our society, and showcasing the diverse talents and skills of the artists.

A highlight of the exhibition opening is the world premiere of Spaceships: The Performance, based on the 'Star Wars' movies and incorporating elements of the Japanese Butoh dance form. Artworks from an array of traditional artistic mediums, including drawing, printmaking and painting, are on sale for the duration of the exhibition.
