Art to Crow About
E3 art space: 9 – 19 August 2012
Tracey Kelly The birdbath in my garden 2012, acrylic on canvas
Art to Crow About celebrates the skills and artistic abilities of people with a disability. The exhibition is the result of twelve months of hard work for many clients from Skills Options Kurrajong Waratah in Wagga Wagga, Leeton and West Wyalong.
Now in its eighth year, this wonderful show is a tribute to the creativity of the participants across a wide range of different media, including paintings, drawings and printmaking. All works are for sale, and proceeds from this exhibition go directly to the artists.
Art to Crow About will be launched at the E3 art space, on the banks of Wollundry Lagoon, on Thursday 9 August, 2012. The exhibition launch will be accompanied by a performance by the Twilight Dance Troupe of the Butoh dance, directed by Canny Kinloch; and a fashion parade by clients of The Leisure Company featuring hand-made hats and millinery.
The exhibition will be open to the public from Thursday 9 August until Sunday 19 August . All are welcome to come along and help celebrate the diverse talents on display!
