Unfinished Business

Saturday 27 August – Sunday 30 October | Margaret Carnegie Gallery

  • Aunty Gayle Rankine, Ngarrindjeri Woman, Chairperson, First People's Disability Network, lenticular photographic print

Unfinished Business reveals the visual stories of thirty Australian Indigenous persons with disability by photographer Belinda Mason and film makers Knierim Brothers. Each participant's story is complex and intertwined with Australia's history, which has resulted in today's high rates of disability in Australian Indigenous communities. The exhibition was developed in close collaboration with Indigenous participants and the stories that they tell are their own and that of their people.
