Over the past four decades, the National Art Glass Collection at Wagga Wagga Art Gallery has grown to become Australia’s most significant, and most beloved, collection of the enthralling artform that is contemporary glass. Now holding over six hundred pieces by our country’s internationally acclaimed glass artists, this achievement would not have been possible without the extraordinary generosity of individual collectors and supporting organisations across Australia and from overseas.

Share and wonder: gifts to the National Art Glass Collection, on display in the National Art Glass Gallery, showcases this generosity with some of the Collection’s greatest treasures that have been donated from private collections, artists and enthusiasts. These gifts are not only a tribute to the passion of glass lovers and their esteem for the National Art Glass Collection, but also a vibrant history of Australian glass itself as it has embedded itself in our creative lives.
