The Edge showcases the photographic outcomes of an eighteen month skills development project for young people living in the rural communities of Tumut and Cootamundra. Throughout 2016 and 2017 these young people worked with contemporary Australian photographer Tamara Dean, where they learnt various photographic techniques while documenting their interactions in their localities. This project was created and facilitated by The Wired Lab. It was made possible by the Australian Government’s Regional Arts Fund, provided through Regional Arts Australia, The NSW Government through Create NSW and Australia Council for the Arts.
