fourW thirty-five: new writing collects the best sixty poems and twenty short stories from the 300+ submissions from writers around Australia and overseas. It’s a sumptuous, many-layered slice of the contemporary writing lasagne, including emerging & established authors, regional & metropolitan writers, indigenous and multicultural voices plus a few wild cards from Japan, U.S. and New Zealand. Published by Booranga Writers’ Centre (formerly Wagga Wagga Writers Writers) on Charles Sturt University’s Wagga Wagga campus the anthology includes new work from visiting writers-in-residence and the three 2026 Booranga Prizewinners: for poetry, prose and ‘local’ writing – each worth $500.

Writers include: Craig Billingham, L H Blackwell, Lachlan Brown, PS Cottier, Vida Green, Cary Hamlyn, NG Hartland, Marwa Hijazi, Penelope Jackson, Kai Jensen, Christine Johnston, Maryanne Khan, Jules Leigh Koch, Mark Macleod, Lorraine Manton, Kate Maxwell, Damen O'Brien, Neill Overton, Sara Pronger, Mark Roberts, Sandra Robins, Bronwyn Rodden, Goro Takano, Gabrielle Tozer and Leila Riley Wright.

fourW thirty-five: new writing will be launched by Associate Professor Sam Bowker, Sub-Dean, Research & Graduate Studies, Charles Sturt University
