The series Domestic Familiarity explores our attachment to the familiar places we occupy through the study of the visibility of a person within their space, whilst being separate from it. The work provides a reflection on our immediate landscapes and our basic human need for comfort, community and solitude. This unique perspective on the Australian vernacular landscapes speaks of a fondness for the familiar.
