Hide and Seek brings the viewer face-to-face with the most potent yet enigmatic form of self-expression: the self-portrait. The fifty-six self-portraits brought together for this exhibition traverse the allusive and fluctuating territory of self-perception. This exhibition raises the question as to how much we can tell about an artist from their self-portrait, and leads us to consider how we might portray ourselves.
