Civic Malaise exhibits large-scale urban landscape photographs, and is the final chapter of Holcombe's Civic Melancholy project. Ultimately a nexus between our urban 'civic' environment and our collective behavior, it investigates our impact on, and sometimes our apparent denial of the life cycle of a diversity of regional Australian locations.
