Reciprocity explores cameraless photography as a positive and accessible way of collaborating with the dynamic systems of life on earth, featuring a series of large scale lumen prints referencing the earliest forms of photography. Drawing on artist James Farley’s doctoral research into photography and ecological stewardship at Charles Sturt University, these works explore the power and agency of natural processes, and highlight the value of slow, respectful engagement.
