Several years of wildlife photography around Wagga Wagga, by local artist Josh Bett has resulted in a body of work titled Semi-Wild Australia. A colourful celebration of life, its beauty, its instinctive resilience, ability to adapt, reproduce and evolve. Collectively the series displays a juxtaposition of native and introduced species of flora and fauna and encapsulates the rapid transformation of habitats since the European settlement and how wildlife has had no choice but to adapt.
