Through my eyes: Australian Landscape presents the latest expressive works on canvas and paper by Ann Rayment, an artist practicing in Leeton, NSW. The exhibition presents a distinctive and varied approach to the Australian landscape, which Ann explores through bold abstract marks and colours. By employing a variety of media and techniques to create multiple layers, Ann constructs works that depict the raw and natural state of our landscape. This series includes individual responses to Eucalyptus, rivers, oceans and ancient land-forms and offers the viewers the opportunity to reflect place, through the artist’s unique perspective.
