Tidying Down is a new body of work that responds to contemporary advice literature surrounding domestic order. Using accumulative, additive processes the work presented mimics textile furnishings and homewares. Drawing reference from texts such as Marie Kondo’s ‘The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up,’ Tidying Down proposes an alternate spatial practice in relation to order and improvement.
