Hardware Jewellery: Using non-traditional materials, create jewellery based on the philosophy and experiments of the Bauhaus artist and designer Anni Albers. Rethinking ideas of what is precious and valuable, students will work with everyday items such as washers, hooks, bobby pins and paperclips to create modernist statement jewellery.
This workshop can be taken as a stand-alone but interested students are encouraged to sign up for all 3 workshops in The Art of Upcycling series.
