Join us for a glass of wine and the opportunity to chat with established artist Lyndall Phelps on how she navigated a successful career in the arts and view the work she has been creating during her residency.
Lyndall has undertaken many artist residencies and built a career as an artist exhibiting in solo and group exhibitions both across Australia and internationally.
Well known for her installations in museums she often uses institutional collections to create new work. The gathering of large amounts of information, images and objects through intensive research and collaboration is a core methodology within Lyndall Phelps’ art practice. Phelps’ work combines a range of media which are often combined in installations that explore and celebrate certain contexts or specific sites.
Lyndall is the Gallery’s Earth Canvas resident artist for 2023.
