Ever wanted to paint a portrait? Join local artist Leigh Hewitt for a portrait workshop, be inspired by the Archibald Prize and discover the art of portraiture.

Leigh Hewitt will guide you through the process of painting portraits, starting with drawing studies and moving on to developing a two-colour portrait. With his guidance, you'll learn how to capture the essence of your subject and create a memorable portrait.

In addition to the hands-on painting workshop, you'll also have the chance to explore the Archibald Prize exhibition, featuring portraits by some of Australia’s most talented artists. You'll be inspired by the beauty and diversity of these works, and gain a deeper appreciation for the art of portraiture.
