Slow down on your lunch break and visit the gallery and leave with a new appreciation for the skill found in every thread of clothing.
Members of The Wagga Wagga Handweavers and Spinners Guild will be spinning on their wheels and answering your questions in the Hand Me Down, Style Me Up exhibition on the lower floor of the Gallery. The Guild has been an institution in Wagga for over 50 years. They have an active membership who meet weekly. The Guild also conducts open workshops in specialisations such as felting, knitting, crochet and natural dyeing. This is a rare opportunity to watch the spinners at work!
