Join Wiradjuri Elder Uncle James Ingram for a cultural knowledge River Walk along the Murrumbidgee river for National Science Week 2023.
Uncle James Ingram is knowledgeable about the areas where birds once used to nest in protected sanctuary areas. He will share his knowledge of the local ecology and the cultural significance of the river and its inhabitants to the Wiradjuri people.
Participants should meet at the Wagga Wagga Beach at 11:00AM for a Welcome to Country. Walk with tour guide Uncle James Ingram from the beach to the Sunken Garden in the Victoria Memorial Gardens via Wollundry Lagoon and Riverside Stage.
** Please bring good walking shoes, hat and water bottle.
