Peg People
Tuesday 3 October, 10am - 12pm

Children and their parents or caregivers can make a wooden peg person using old-fashioned pegs, scrap fabric and left over yarn. Get inspiration from the fun community exhibition, Hand Me Down, Style Me Up and discover the joy of upcycling household staples to create your own toy.

Animal skeletons
Wednesday 4 October, 10am - 12pm

Come and see the exhibition Capturing Nature, the earliest natural history photographs from the Australian Museum.

Primary aged children and their parents or caregivers will learn about the skeletons of different animals in the early collection of the Australian Museum. Inspired by what you see, choose a skeleton colouring page and draw and colour in your own animal body around it.

Welcome the turtles!
Thursday 5 October, 10am - 12pm

Artist Hayden Fowler's exhibition Turtle Island is an actual island on the Wollundry Lagoon. Have a look at the island and video footage of the animals who are visiting the new island. Then, create a poster to welcome the Murray and Eastern Long Neck turtles back to the lagoon. Your posters will be displayed in the window of the E3 workshop space. For children and their parents or caregivers.

Paper Dolls
Friday 6 October, 10am - 12pm

Inspired by the community exhibition, Hand Me Down, Style Me Up, children and their caregivers will make a paper doll with a variety of colourful outfits, hats and hairstyles! Ideal activity for families to have fun and spark conversation about where we get our clothes and where they go after we are done with them.
