We have all heard of elevator pitches, the Three Minute Thesis competition, and maybe even the book Pitch to Win by Justin Cohen.  Artists need to pitch their work and ideas. This is not rocket science, but clear strategies and helpful tips do make pitching, competing for grants, and speaking about your work more effective.

Julie Ewington has pitched many projects, sometimes with success, often not; and she has sat on innumerable grant-giving committees. This talk, and individual follow-up one-on-one sessions, will offer guidelines, tactics and even some useful tricks of the trade.
