Join us for a creative workshop inspired by Merric Boyd’s late-life sketching practice. In the 1950s, Boyd turned to sketching after ill-health prevented him from continuing pottery, filling over 60 Spirax sketchbooks in his final decade. In this session, each participant will receive their own Spirax sketchbook and enjoy a guided tour of Bundanon: Fantastic Forms, showcasing Boyd’s ceramics and dynamic expressionistic drawings. Led by members of the Wagga Wagga Art Society, participants will sketch 3D forms from the exhibition, and explore the potential to start their own sketching practice.
